Take the High Way to Your Dream Career

In our younger years we are often strongly influenced by our parents / family, our school / teachers, our peers and friends, and of course we cannot under score the strong influence of the media ... movies, TV, News and more recently... computers. So our earlier career choices are often a cumulative of our life circumstances and external influences.

  • One may be stuck in a job at seven eleven fresh out of high school yet dreaming of becoming a movie star with no idea of how to get there.

  •  Or one may have been pressurized by family into getting into law school or medical school yet have an innermost desire to become a fashion designer.

  • Or your childhood dreams may have prompted you along a certain career route, several long years later, you discover your dreams have changed and your heart is no longer in it.

  • Or you just might experience career burn out. Yes, this happens too. After you have spent long grueling hours, high energy and enthusiasm in a certain field of interest, you suddenly find yourself 'deflated'... it no longer inspires or motivates you any longer. This happens quite often to top level corporate executives and other high performing individuals.

  • Sometimes it is the necessity of survival that keeps you stuck in a certain uninspiring career... For instance a mom or dad with a young family to take care of don't usually have the time or energy or are scared of taking risks.
